History of The Brian Boru Pipe Band:
Founded in 1998 with the goal of teaching young people the arts of piping and drumming, but has since opened its ranks to teaching adults as well.
The Irish National Tartan was chosen for the kilts and the band proudly bears the name of the first High King of Ireland. The band is proud of its regimental dress and its strong musical ability. We offer our services to the local Fire and Police Departments in the Cape Cod area, and have performed at many of their functions.
Our band consists of many talented musicians committed to delivering quality Irish pipe band music to our region. We do a wide variety of public performances through a number of holiday parades as well as private performances such as weddings, funerals, and other venues. We are very proud of our musical ability as well as our heritage.
Brian Boru Pipe Band placed 2nd in a field of fifteen Grade 5 Bands at the 2017 New Hampshire Highlands Games held at Loon Mountain.
